Research Experience

  • March 2021 - April 2022, PostDoc position in the Departamento de Física Atómica, Molecular y Nuclear, Universidad de Granada, Spain Worked with Dr Eugenio Megias Fernandez in the Application of Fluid/Gravity correspondence to study hydrodynamic systems in a strongly coupled regime.
  • January 2022 - February 2022, Visiting Researcher in Instituto de Fisica Teorica IFT-UMA/CSIS, Madrid, Spain Worked with Prof. Karl Landsteiner and Dr Daniel Areán Fraga in the Application of AdS/CFT correspondence to study the dual strongly coupled Condensed matter system.
  • November 2021 - December 2021, Visiting Researcher in Instituto de Fisica Teorica IFT-UMA/CSIS, Madrid, Spain Worked with Prof. Karl Landsteiner in the Application of AdS/CFT correspondence to study the transport properties of a dual strongly coupled Hydrodynamic system.
  • June 2014 - November 2019, PhD candidate, Sikkim University, India Completed PhD under the supervision of Prof. Subir Mukhpodhyay in the Department of Physics, Sikkim University, India. PhD topic "Study of behaviour of Fermions in some holographic theories using Gauge/Gravity duality". Using the duality we have studied different phases of metal such as – Fermi and Non-Fermi Liquids – Zero temperature limit of High Tc superconductor – Metal/Insulator phase Numerical computations of these supergravity models were done in Mathematica.
  • June 2008 - Dec 2008, M.Sc Physics, Sikkim University, India Worked on Dissertation titled "Application of linear and non-linear system" under the supervision of Dr Hemam Dinesh Singh. Used Fourier technique to study the linear model for vibration of guitar string. Used numerical techniques to analyse non-linear model of landslide. Numerical computation was done in Matlab.
