Rotaract Club

Aims of the Club

  • Installed in SRM University on 23rd of August 2016 under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of Gangtok R.I District 3240, Rotaract club of SRM University Sikkim is the only Institution based Rotaract club in Sikkim.
  • The main aim of the club is to whet and rear professional growth ,leadership quality and various such attributes in the students that will help them later in their personal and professional lives. It empowers the students to be confident and face the challenges in life. With the utilization of various community-based activities, intellectual seminars and club exchange programs, the students get to showcase their talent, leadership skills, team spirit and managerial skills.
  • Along with individual growth, the students also learn to be active members of the society and in the long-run contributes to the development of the society, nation and world at large.

Blood-Donation-camp
Blood Donation camp held by NSS Cell & Rotaract Club

The NSS Cell, in collaboration with the Rotaract Club of the university, organised a blood donation camp at the campus in observance of World Health Day. The camp was conducted in association with STNM Hospital, Gangtok, with a medical team led by Dr. Love Mohera. The initiative aimed to create awareness about voluntary blood donation and contribute to lifesaving efforts. Students, faculty and staff participated in the camp, and a total of 25 units of blood were collected.
