SRM University Sikkim (SRMUS) will introduce Ph.D Program (full time and part time) beginning from August 2017. The Ph.D program is designed to equip scholars to be researchers and specialists in the field of Computer Science, Management, and Literature. The objective of the program is to guide scholar in an innovative way to become the top-class researcher in various fields of study leading to Ph.D degree.

This Ph.D program is in line with the overall vision to become one of India’s premier research-led University.
Applications are invited for Ph.D. admissions (Part-Time Internal) from the faculty members of SRM University Sikkim in the following Faculties
a.The syllabus of the written test are as follows. (Full marks 100). Questions of the written test are
MCQ type with four options. Each question will carry 1 (one) mark. Time duration of written
test is 2hours and 30 minutes (150 minutes).

b.Interview (Research idea and Presentation) -100 marks. The interview will be organized by URCC and the candidates are required to discuss their research/area through a presentation before URCC or a committee duly constituted by URCC. The committee also consider the following aspects at time of interview- whether the candidate possesses the competence for proposed research, the research work can be suitably undertaken at the university and the proposed area of research can contribute to new/additional knowledge.
